Most systems have a height minimum, and most are built for women in their early years. Our Elite Ms division was created for women 45 and older who are 5'6" and shorter. Whether you competed decades ago, always dreamed of it, or just found this world, you belong. Your age and your height are not limitations.

​In the Elite Ms division you compete only against other women 45 and older, never against twenty-somethings. And we designed it with you in mind, with activewear instead of swimwear, so you decide how much you show and step on stage feeling confident.

Meaningful friendships get harder as we get older. In this division you meet women who understand where you are, who have been through some of the same things. Our contestants say these friendships are some of the most meaningful they have made in years.

It is never too late to go after something new
Maybe you competed when you were younger and want it again. Maybe life got in the way. We have had first-time competitors in their 50s take the national title, and women return to the stage after 30 years away. The only requirement is that you are ready.

This pageant reminded me that the crown is beautiful, but the connections and memories are priceless. If there is one thing I hope you take from my journey, it is this: it is never too late to pivot, reinvent yourself, and chase a dream. No matter your age or where you are in life, your next chapter is waiting.

This marks my third year competing at Petite USA, and each year I have placed Top 10. But what brings me back has never been the placement. I return because of the women. It is a sisterhood unlike any other, and the friendships I have built are ones I will cherish for a lifetime.
