Hannah Melinda Ferris

Age: 28, Height:  5’1

I am a Florida-based patient advocate and autism awareness advocate, passionate about helping others feel seen, heard, and empowered in their journeys. After being diagnosed with autism at 23, I turned my personal challenges into a purpose—using my voice to raise awareness, break stigmas, and remind others that their differences are their strength. Through my work as a patient advocate in the medical cannabis industry, I support individuals in finding relief, confidence, and a better quality of life. As Ms. Florida Petite 2026, I am honored to represent my state with grace, resilience, and heart, inspiring others to embrace who they are and know they are always enough.

Hobbies: In my free time, I love dancing, spending time with my family at Disney, and enjoying the Florida sunshine.

Fun Fact: A fun fact about me is that I was adopted at birth and raised as an only child, a part of my story that has shaped my perspective, gratitude, and deep appreciation for family and friends.

I have proudly called the Tampa Bay area home for over 10 years after relocating from my birthplace of Washington, D.C. Now in my 50s, I am embracing this season of life with confidence, faith, and a passion for inspiring women to shine at every stage.

By day, I work for Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, where I lead with organization, precision, and heart. I am deeply committed to my platform, Saving 2nd Base, which celebrates its 20th year in 2026, supporting families impacted by breast cancer while promoting women’s health and awareness. I believe that God gives each of us unique gifts—not to keep, but to share—and I strive to live that mission daily through acts of kindness and community involvement.

I am honored to represent Florida and hope to inspire others to embrace their purpose, share their gifts, and live with confidence, faith, and joy—because the best chapters are still ahead.
